Furthermore the homelink buttons in my car are no longer recognized by the liftmaster despite repeated attempts to reprogram them. All current genie garage door openers specifically work on 315mhz 390mhz dual frequency to help reduce the likeliness of experiencing radio frequency interference. The range on the remote of my garage door opener liftmaster model 2110 or 2220 is suddenly so short that it barely works when the remote is outside the garage door. It would only work with 1 remote etc.

The genie g3t r 3 button remote works up to 3 garage door opener systems manufactured from 1997 to the present. Usually within 1 or 2 feet but once or twice as far as the garage door. Place a stepladder at the area of the garage door opener. After making all of the connections the garage door opener works but only with the remote at very short range.

Depress the tabs on the underside of the cover at the back of the unit and remove the cover to expose the antenna connection.
