Garage Door Opener Led Light Bulb Does Not Work

I have not been able to determine yet if this really occurs but it has been reported in some cases.

Listen for the light relay on the logic board to click. We have observed brand new light bulbs that don t work right out of the box. Unplug the garage door opener then immediately plug the opener back into the electrical outlet. Many are surprised by this but we aren t.

Garage doors operate using frequencies between 28 and 360 mhz. Led lights have drivers inside the bulbs which produce a field that interferes with the garage door preventing the door from opening. More and more products are being produced at a faster rate and that leads to reduced quality. If your garage door opener light is not working the fix might be as simple as changing the light bulb.

Garage door openers operate by using radio waves similar to how a remote controlled car works. If you hear a click replace the light socket if you do not hear a click replace the logic board.
