I was initially skeptical because it s not made of steel but it doesn t have to be. I don t know what s kept me from getting one. It is one of the most efficient oil drain valves. The quality is top notch and the price point is right.

It does take a bit longer to drain the oil than it did with the normal factory plug but doing so without any spills or oil covered hands is a bargain trade off. It worked fine in the many many oil changes i did my self.

One last drain mess installed the valve in place of the stock oil plug with the 90 fitting lined up and tightened down and no more mess or dropping the skid. I ve known about these valves for years. Now its just reach in push on the appx 8 tubing piece i cut and keep in a ziplock in a storage cubby and open up the valve with the locking lever.
